You just make your favourite custom outfits and save them in the mod, then after every cutscene you literally just click 2 quick buttons to reload your outfit of choice, and the holster goes away. the holster will reappear after every cutscene, but the mod is very easy to use and learn. You can create your own custom outfits and save them in the mod rather than in your camp wardrobe. So I thought you might like to know I found a mod allowing us to remove it.
